Jesse Eisenberg will return for The Master’s Trick 3 with the return of the franchise’s original cast
One of the main successes of his career Jesse Eisenbergwho also participated in films such as Zombieland (2009), The social network (2010) and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), the franchise Master trick will finally get a third film. Aside from the fans, the actor himself is looking forward to the new entry – and revealed how desperate he is for filming to begin.
It is worth remembering how Master Trick 2, the most recent in the franchise, premiered more than seven years ago, on June 9, 2016 in Brazilian cinemas. During an interview with Collider, Eisenberginterpreter of J. Daniel Atlasspoke about the anxiety to continue the saga.
“That’s why I love you so much [os filmes] and I’m so desperate to do a third one. It’s like it’s the only time I could lower my antidepressant dose, because I feel so at ease and comfortable with myself as an artist, because my character is one too,” he said.
So in a way, the way I would describe method acting would be almost the opposite: the character makes you feel something about yourself.
Furthermore, Jesse Eisenberg talked about the differences between him and J. Daniel Atlas: “The character is a very confident artist, and I am a very insecure artist who has doubts,” he explained. “I don’t watch any of the films I’ve been in, I try to avoid static frames from films.”
“I don’t want to see myself, because I’m overwhelmed with my own anxieties about myself,” the actor continued. “So being an artist who feels good about himself and actually being on a film set where I act is the best method I’ve felt. I walk around almost cocky on those sets.”
