On Wednesday, Nov. 15, Disney+ premiered the first season of “Everything’s Alright,” a comedy-drama that follows the everyday lives of an ordinary family as they deal with the serious illness of one of their children. Faced with this tragedy, each member reacts in his own way: some imagine the worst, while others prefer to live as if nothing happened.
A mosaic of notable actors including Virgin Efira, Nicole Garcia and Sara Giraudeau, Tout va bien offers a gallery of imperfect yet hauntingly endearing characters.
A wonderful critical success, Tout va bien may return for a second season, according to creator Camille de Castelnau, who notably worked on scripts for Bureau des Légendes and Funny.
Is a second season possible?
When asked about this during the press conference, Camille Castelnau revealed that she was not closed to the idea of continuing the story of the Wasser family.
“The concept of the series, if it will have several seasons, is a family facing an ordeal“, he explained. So there are other trials that can happen to a family. A second season is possible. But making a season 2 for the sake of making a season 2 is pointless. But everything is possible.”
The designer explained to our colleagues Პirveli that a sequel, should it see the light of day, might refer to “The post-trauma of what they went through with Rose“. One thing is for sure, the actors announced at the press conference their willingness to re-sign on for a new round of episodes if the Wasser Clan adventure continues.
