The anime hype
Alongside the wave of video game adaptations, the world of cinema and streaming has also gotten in on the anime hype.
Netflix, for example, which is successful A piece (adaptation of the anime of the same name), announced several productions this year and also broadcast a genre-focused event in September.
A reverse movement also recently became public: John Wick will receive an anime adaptation. The news was announced by the director of the four-film saga himself, Chad Stahelski.
The director and producer did not provide details about the project, but said the anime will feature a level of creativity not captured by cinema.
