Sao Paulo did it again on Monday morning, after the goalless draw against Cuiabá, in the Brazilian championship, at Morumbi. The team led by coach Dorival Júnior has started preparing for the match against Bahia, scheduled for this Wednesday in Salvador.
The players who played the longest in the last match remained inside the CT Barra Funda and carried out regenerative activity. The others took to the pitch for training focused on ball possession, exchanging passes in short spaces.
Next, Dorival and his committee conducted a submission matchup effort, with the teams dueling on a reduced field.
The Tricolore has important returns in view of the next match. Available to the team are defenders Beraldo and Diego Costa, winger Rafinha and midfielder Gabriel Neves, who are suspended.
Forward Erison, however, received his third yellow card and is disqualified. He joins the injured Calleri, Gallop, Igor Vinícius, Marcos Paulo, Pato and Nestor as absences from the Tricolore.
Sao Paulo returns to activities this Tuesday morning. In the afternoon the delegation leaves for Salvador.
With 47 points, the team remains in tenth place in the table, six points behind Z4, and still has a mathematical chance of falling into Serie B. The duel with Bahia will take place this Wednesday at 8pm (Brasilia time), at the Arena Fonte Nova, for the 36th round of the competition.
