Released in the second half of this year, the film Boogeyman: Your Fear is Real is now available to Star+ subscribers. The supernatural horror was directed by Rob Savage and stars Vivien Lyra Blair and Sophie Thatcher.
The plot tells the story of two sisters who mourn the premature death of their mother and end up seeing their home invaded by a supernatural entity that feeds on people’s suffering.
The screenplay is written by Scott Beck, Bryan Woods and Mark Heyman, and is an adaptation of the story of the same name by Stephen King, published in 1973. The film lasts an hour and a half. Find out more about the cast, synopsis and trailer below.
Boogeyman Synopsis: Your fear is real
Sisters Sawyer (Vivien Lyra Blair) and Sadie Harper (Sophie Thatcher) have just lost their mother and must navigate the grieving process without the support of their father, who cares more about work than family.
To make the situation even more difficult, one night, a desperate patient unexpectedly appears on the Harper family’s doorstep, and the house is invaded by a terrifying entity that feeds on the greatest suffering of its victims.

The film stars Vivien Lyra Blair (Bird Box) and Sophie Thatcher (Yellowjajckets), as Sawyer and Sadie Harper respectively.
