If you loved (as much as we did) Marvel’s first series for Disney+ with Elizabeth Olsen, then you’ll be looking forward to its spin-off, which focuses on the villainous Agatha Harkness. The witch, played by the brilliant Kathryn Hahn, is back on our screens in a featurette seen on WandaVision Blu-ray.
It’s neither a trailer nor a teaser, but we can still see new images of the spin-off, which is expected in 2024. Titled Agatha: Darkhold Diaries – a reference to the book of spells used by the Scarlet Witch in the MCU – the series will receive. A place before and after Wandavision events.
In the last episode, Wanda cast a spell on her ex-boyfriend to stay in Westview forever as a beautiful neighbor. We’ll find the former villain as he manages to get out of this situation and discover what happened to the former Avenger in Doctor Strange 2.
While we can’t wait to see Agatha back on our screens, the rest of the cast is sure to be as well. The video features Joe Locke (Heartstopper) and Aubrey Plaza (Parks and Rec), joined by Patti LuPone, Allie Ahn and Emma Caulfield Ford (she reprises her role as Dottie).
According to fan reports on social networks, the featurette shows images from the first three episodes of Agatha: Darkhold Diaries. The Marvel series also includes singing parts (Accordingly, we hope). If it’s as meta and referenced as WandaVision, then it should be Disney+’s next big hit.
