game of Thrones It was arguably the biggest TV show as it concluded its eighth and final season of The Division in 2019, and then it seemed to be the last farewell to the Stark family. All of the spin-offs seemed to take place either long before or far away from the Seven Kingdoms (as with dragon housewhich opens in August) from game of Thrones was. Now, however, a series of sequels are in the works, with none other than Kit Harington reprising her iconic role.
HBO is developing a sequel series based on Jon Snow, second THR, with Kit Harington attached to return if the project goes ahead. The project is said to be for live-action (and therefore not one of the animated spin-offs first announced in 2021). HBO is in the early stages of development, so a lot of progress will be needed if Jon Snow’s sequel series comes to fruition and brings Harington back. Neither HBO nor Harington have commented at the time of writing.
Although it is a sequel series based on one of the survivors game of Thrones the characters could be difficult to produce without the involvement of several prominent former actors, a project based on Jon Snow would be ideal. The original series ended with Jon’s exile from the Seven Kingdoms (or the Six Kingdoms at the time), which was a better alternative to execution for killing his aunt / lover / tyrant Queen Daenerys. He traveled over the wall with the Free People (and Ghost, after they finally reunited).
If a Jon Snow spin-off were to take place beyond The Wall, the show wouldn’t technically need to play a familiar actor. game of Thrones faces and many stars have gone in very different directions from their starring roles on HBO. Harington himself made his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as part of eternalAnd it’s not the only one game of Thrones alum to make the leap into a comic-based television universe rather than show interest in returning to the one created by author George RR Martin. Earlier this year, Harington commented on his potential future (or lack of him) in the MCU.
for a long time game of Thrones fan and A song of ice and fire reader (who is more than willing to winter winds), I’d love to see stars like Maisie Williams, Sophie Turner, and Isaac Hempstead Wright appear in a Jon Snow project after the original series finally reunited the Starks last season to separate them again. However, with the project still in the early stages of development, there are far more questions than answers at this point.
For now, fans can expect to see the Westeros characters again in the not too distant future, and some of these characters will even be relatives of Jon from his Targaryen side. of the many game of Thrones spin-offs that have been developed from time to time over the years, dragon house received an order for the series and will premiere on HBO on August 21. It’s set over a century before the original series timeline, so fans shouldn’t be hoping for cameos from stars like Kit Harington, but it will be a journey. return to the world of Westeros.
For now, you can still watch and review all eight seasons of game of Thrones stream with an HBO Max subscription and check out our 2022 TV previews schedule for more viewing options. Fans of the books can only hope this great game of Thrones the news will soon be followed by great A song of ice and fire news from George RR Martin that it is finally ending winter winds.
