Boys: Do you want more? Amazon has it all planned!

Head to Mexico for The Boys. Deadline It was recently revealed that Prime Video has given the green light to a new spin-off of the superhero series. It will be the third in the genre, after Gen V – which follows the young soups at the Vought International school – and the animated Diabolical.

But this will be the first time that a series adapted from the comics has moved to another country. The Boys: Mexico is co-produced by two famous South American actors, Diego Luna and Gael García Bernal. The latter could also play minor roles. The script was handed over to Garrett Dunnett-Alcoser, who is already working on the DC production that came out this summer, Blue Beetle.

But what about The Boys: Mexico? According to American media, the script has not yet been written and casting has not yet begun. So you will have to be a little patient until you have the first information and names. It also remains to be seen if the different worlds will be intertwined, with the appearance of certain key characters such as the Butcher (Karl Urban), Hugh (Jack Quaid) or even the Protector (Anthony Starr).

We can always make up for that wait with Season 4 of The Boys, which should logically return to Prime Video in 2024. And Gen V Season 2, which was announced a few months ago. The commotion around the soup should last a while.
