Xbox Game Pass receives games from the Remnant series

Remnant: From the Ashes and Remnant 2 arrive surprisingly on the Microsoft service

Subscribe to Game passage had a nice surprise this Thursday (30th), with the addition of two fantastic unannounced games to the service’s catalog. Remnant: from the ashes AND Rest 2 are available to play on Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, and Xbox Cloud Gaming.

The first Remnant was already in the Game Pass catalog in the past, to be removed in May 2022. The third-person shooter innovated with ‘Soulslike’ style mechanics and Lovecraftian themes. In it, players pass through portals and face supernatural monsters in dynamically generated worlds, improving their skills and weapons with each playthrough.

The sequel, Remnant 2, is one of the best releases of 2023, improving all aspects of the original game. The player is a character known as the Survivor and his mission is to prevent evil beings from infesting his homeland and eventually the entire universe.

Remnant 2 is available for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. The two games in the franchise are included in the Game Pass catalog.
