The actor still doesn’t know if he will play the hero again in a fourth Friendly Neighborhood film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe
Tom HollandStill don’t know if he’ll live again Spider man after Spider-Man: No Way Homea 2021 feature film, which ended – temporarily, for now – the character’s participation in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
At a press conference for the Critics Choice Associationthe actor said he is talking about the possibility of reincarnating the Spider man in the future, but nothing is fixed: “All I can say is that we are engaged in conversations about what could be a fourth chapter for my character. Whether or not we find a way to honor him is another story.”declared [via Collider].
“I’m very protective of Spider man and I feel honored to be able to work on a franchise that has improved with each film, which I think is rare. So, I’m not going to make another film just for the sake of it. It needs to be worth it for the character”added the actor.
Tom Holland debuted as the Spider man in Captain America: Civil Warfrom 2016. Since then, he has released three solo films – Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019) and Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) -, in addition to having participated in the last two Avengers films, Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019).
