Jodie Foster on superhero movie: “People are going to get bored soon”

Jodie Fosterwho comes to Brazil in the next few days to promote the 4th season of the series True Detective, shared his opinion on superhero films. In an interview with Ellethe actress said she believes that the success of productions of this genre is fleeting and “people will get tired soon”.

“It’s a phase. It’s a phase that’s gone on too long for me, but it’s a phase, and I’ve seen a lot of them. Hopefully, people will get tired of it very soon.”he declared.

Despite the opinion, Foster revealed that she likes some productions of this genre, despite believing that they do not influence her career as an actress: “The good ones, like Iron Man, black Panther, matrix… I love these films and I immerse myself in the entertainment they provide me, but they are not the reason I became an actress. And these movies don’t change my life”he added.
