Fans of The Bridgerton Chronicles are eagerly awaiting Season 3 on Netflix. Following the huge success of its spin-off centered on Queen Charlotte, the Bridgerton series will soon return to the platform for a new romantic adventure set in London high society during the 19th century Regency England.

The third round of episodes, directed by Jess Brownell, writer of Scandal and The Invention of Anne, will feature a couple adored by fans of the novels: Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin (Luke Newton).
Bridgerton has his audience waiting for a third season after some fans criticized the second season, which they said lacked sexuality and sensuality in several sex scenes.
More sex in Season 3?
Fans can rest assured, Nicola Coughlan’s recent statements seem to indicate that there will be some steamy scenes between Penelope and Colin. The Irish actor explained to Virgin Media Television (reported Hello magazine) that she couldn’t wait for fans to discover this very romantic and sensual new season:
“I’m so excited, I honestly can’t wait. The season is finally coming in 2024 and it’s one of the best experiences I’ve ever had.
This season is really funny, really romantic, they’ve got a lot of romantic comedy elements involved, and again, it’s not a season to watch with the whole family… take what you want from it.”
These statements by Nicola Coughlan contradict the statements of Simone Ashley (Kate Sharma), who explained last year that season 3 will contain less scary scenes. But the actor spoke before the shooting of these new episodes.
The producer has definitely changed his tone regarding the erotic scenes of Season 3, which fans will discover on Netflix next year.
