Anya Taylor-Joy (The menu),Chris Hemsworth (Thor: Love and Thunder) and the director George Miller were present on the first day of CCXP23 and revealed the first trailer for Furiosa: A Mad Max Sagaprelude to Mad Max: Fury Roadfeature film from 2015.
In the new film, which hits theaters in May 2024, we go back to the past to discover the past of Angrylived by Charlize Theron in the original feature and by Taylor-Joy in the prelude. “When the world collapses, young Furiosa is kidnapped from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of the biker horde led by Warlord Dementus”says the film’s synopsis.
“Wandering through the doomed desert, they find the Citadel controlled by Immortan Joe. As the two tyrants fight for power and control, Angry You will have to survive many challenges to find and walk your way back home.”, the text continues. Check out the trailer:
Directed by George Miller, Furiosa: A Mad Max Sagawhich is scheduled to premiere on May 24, 2024 in theaters, features a script by the filmmaker in partnership with Nick Lanthouriswho co-wrote Mad Max: Fury Road.
