The resource allows you to find recent posts on topics of interest with a selection of publications that have used the searched word. However, there are no additional controls to organize the search results, and the report doesn’t appear to have a clear order: Posts aren’t sorted by time posted or engagement.
The director of the social network informs that other improvements will soon be implemented in the thread search tool and that he hopes that this functionality will help the public to “find and participate in conversations” on the topics they like most.
Hashtags in threads
Last November, the Threads have also started testing the use of hashtags to facilitate the organization of posts and the search for content. The difference is that the resource on the platform only allows one term with this marking, and the “#” symbol does not appear in posts.
This testing has begun in Australia, with Meta promising to expand the tool to other countries soon.
