PREPARATION:

  1. Separate the utensils and ingredients for the recipe.

  3. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  4. Sift the flour together with the cinnamon and pinch of salt into a bowl.
  5. Coarsely chop the walnuts.
  6. Wash the lemon and cut it.
  7. Wash and peel the apples. Reserve the shells for the dough.
  8. Cut the apples into cubes, put them in a bowl, squeeze the lemon over them and mix.
  9. Grease the pan with a drizzle of oil and sprinkle it with flour.

PREPARATION:

Apple, cinnamon and walnut cake:

  1. Place the apple peels with the eggs in a blender and blend until you obtain a smooth mass.
  2. Add the sugar and beat for another 1 minute.
  3. Add the oil and beat for another minute.
  4. Transfer the dough into a bowl.
  5. Gradually add the sifted flour with the cinnamon and salt, stirring to combine.
  6. Add the apple cubes and coarsely chopped walnuts to the mixture and mix so that they are evenly distributed.
  7. Finally add the yeast.
  8. Transfer it to the greased and dusted baking tray and place it in the preheated oven at 180°C.
  9. Bake for about 60 minutes until golden brown.
  10. To check if it is cooked, do the toothpick test: place the toothpick in the center of the cake, if it comes out clean, it is ready.
  11. Turn off the oven, remove the cake and shake it to see if it comes loose from the pan.
  12. Invert onto a plate or cutting board.

FINALIZATION AND ASSEMBLY:

  1. Invert the cake onto the platter or serving platter you will serve it on.
  2. Place the sugar in a strainer and distribute it over the cake.
