The long-awaited first trailer for “The Boys” season 4 was revealed to much excitement at CCXP23 on Prime Video this Saturday (2). The launch took place on the Thunder Stage, with a presentation by Ikaro Kadoshi and Patrícia Gomes.
In scenes we are brought into the increasingly chaotic world of the series. And everything really seems to be heading towards imminent disaster.
Already in the first seconds of the trailer we see the tension that had been building during the construction of The Boys, with Homelander sitting static, seen from behind, as if he was thinking about something… well, in a “super” mode and a way of be disturbed. Watch:
The Boys must strengthen their criticism of the system
The intense power struggle between Victoria Neuman and Homelander for control of the Oval Office seems to be between the lines of the trailer for this new season of The Boys. There is a kind of fierce criticism of democracies (or the stupidity of people in general), in the face of a world on the brink of collapse.
The events of the 4th season of The Boys arrive on Prime Video after the final moments of the spin-off “Gen V” – complete with connections between the two productions. In addition to the main characters, the trailer also gives us a glimpse of new faces. Including Jeffrey Dean Morgan (known for playing “Negan” on “The Walking Dead”).
O Olhar Digital is following everything closely at CCXP23, which celebrates 10 years and ends this Sunday (3). This edition also featured the first world screening of “Rebel Moon – Part 1: The Fire Girl”, Zack Snyder’s new science fiction film, the announcement of the renewal of “The Reacher” (with the right to showing a special scene) and many other incredible attractions for fans of comics, TV, cinema and games.
