I will no longer introduce the Tuche family! Coming to the big screen in 2011, this hilarious group, led by Jean-Paul Rouvi and Isabelle Nantes, experienced four completely insane cinematic adventures (pending the fifth opus, which will take place in England). It’s the latest movie, Les Tuche 4, that I recommend you watch tonight on TF1!
Hitting theaters in late 2021, Les Tuche 4 sees Jeff (Jean-Paul Rouvet), who has resigned as President of the Republic, return to his village of Bouzol with his family. As the end of the year holidays approach, Cathy (Isabelle Nanty) asks for a unique gift: to reconnect with her sister Maguire and her husband Jean-Yves, whom Jeff has been mad at for 10 years.

A reconciliation could have happened without a problem, except that during lunch, Jeff and Jean-Yves find another point of contention: Christmas. This family feud, which should never have left the Bouzolles, turns into a feud between Jeff and the Internet distribution giant.
“For this issue 4 we wanted to write a Christmas story based on, in the background, a little social fairy tale”says director Olivier Baru. “As we wanted the film to be, like previous films, first of all, family, we had to write for both adults and children. It’s not easy. We struggle quite a lot. Tons of streams ended up in garbage. Often they stopped, more often they were disappointed. But we hung on The Tuche returned to their native Buzols!
Note that in Les Tuche 4, which sees the arrival of a certain Michel Blanc in the casting, the actress Isabel Nantes plays two roles: herself, Cathy Tuche, but also her sister Magee! A major technical challenge, especially when two characters are in the same frame.
