Even if the three parts of the Star Wars postlogy – released between 2015 and 2019 – are not the highest rated in the saga, a certain sequence still remains in the memory of fans. This is especially true of the famous confrontation between Kylo Ren and Han Solo at the end of The Force Awakens, a devastating scene that traumatized many fans of the legendary smuggler.
Indeed, while we learned earlier in the film that Kylo Ren (real name Ben Solo) was actually the son of Han Solo and Leia, the young man killed his father with a lightsaber strike at Starkiller Base.
His interpreter, American actor Adam Driver (soon to be seen as Enzo Ferrari in Michael Mann’s upcoming film) recently mentioned the famous scene. At the microphone of Chris Wallace, on CNN.
“I remember this every day”The actor said before softening his words. “Not every day, it used to be a lot more, but nowadays it comes back about once a month.”
Aside from the repercussions the scene may have had after the film’s release, Adam Driver also spoke about filming and the celebratory atmosphere on set that day:
“Obviously, there was no John Williams music playing in the background and it was quite emotional to be on tour with Harrison, to be honest. . He was so generous and thoughtful. For me, it was a great moment on set, even though we were filming her death.”
He also explained that as a Star Wars fan, he took his time to accept the role because he knew it was for him. “Great Opportunity”Adam Driver said he took it all very seriously.
