Thursday, December 7, tomorrow belongs to us…
Bastien’s condition is critical
After staying up all night, Roxanne got up early to go to the police station and try to catch the hackers who broke into the St. Clair hospital’s computer system. With persistence, Roxanne managed to get all her rights back.
In the hospital, Violet visits Bastien and notices that he is no longer in his room. He asks Benjamin for the news, who informs him that the young man has been admitted to intensive care due to complications from his chemo. Violet then tries to learn more about her friend’s healing abilities. Benjamin explains to her that he is currently looking for a compatible donor. So Violette has proof that you just need to take a blood test to find out if you are compatible.
A little later, Benjamin rests and drinks coffee with Audrey. He admits to her that he cannot forgive Victoria for the abortion, convinced that he could have helped or helped her in one way or another. On the contrary, Audrey points out that she would probably do anything to change his mind. Therefore, he understands Victoire’s behavior.
Victoire, on the other hand, is afraid to meet Benjamin at the hospital. He enjoys coffee at Spoon with Soraya to confide in. Victoire admits that she blames herself for the pain of her ex-partner. He wishes she had told him the truth then. However, Soraya also mentions that it was her right not to talk about it.
At the police station, Roxanne informs Karim and Sarah that the computer hack that the hospital was a victim of was just a decoy. Indeed, the medical records leaked the day before were already available via backup, meaning the hackers have no other records. As for the address they specified to make the bitcoin transfer, it is a dormant address. According to Roxanne, the hackers’ goal was to disable the hospital’s other security software so they could physically enter the building without anyone noticing. Karim speculates about the theft of medicines for sale on the black market.
At the hospital, Reno actually confirms to Karim and Sara that the pharmacy was partially robbed. He mentions the absence of medicines, but also of surgical equipment. At the same time, Roxanne calls Sara and informs her that she has hacked the hacker’s IP address. It’s Ivan Gallia, John’s former inmate, who used the Villeneuve Detention Center’s library computer to hack into the hospital. Reno and the police quickly deduce that Ivan helped John steal something by taking a bone marrow sample.
At the high school, Violet sends out an ad: to save Bastien from cancer, she encourages other students to go to the hospital to test their compatibility so that he can benefit from a bone marrow transplant. He’s going to do that too. But if more people participate, it increases Bastien’s chances of finding a compatible donor. Jordan openly responds to her statement and says he plans to get tested.
At the hospital, Victoire meets Benjamin and takes the opportunity to apologize for not telling him about the abortion. Despite his efforts, the pediatrician still has it in his throat and cannot pass it.
Meanwhile, Karim and Aurora question Ivan. The latter confirms that he helped John, whom he considers a true friend. However, he swears he knows nothing else. The police force him to call. But Ivan refuses.
In the evening, Benjamin finds John in his hiding place. He keeps trying to convince her to go to the police, but to no avail. He then explains that the transplant is urgent for Bastien, who is responding poorly to chemotherapy. John then reveals all the equipment he stole and installed in his house to take the bone marrow sample. He asks Benjamin to do it on the spot…
A new misunderstanding between Georges and Melody
At the police station, Georges tells Nordin about his meeting with Melody: the two walked and talked, then Georges accompanied the young woman home. When she learns that Georges did not try to kiss her on the doorstep, Nordin is surprised. Georges admits that he would like to, but prefers to take his time.
Later, at lunch, Nordin brings his colleague a snack: loaded tacos. Georges hesitates to eat it, stating that he pays attention to her figure because Melody is a sports teacher. Eventually, Georges eats it, while Nordin encourages him to reconnect with Melody.
In the evening, Georges leaves a little earlier than expected and confirms to Nordin that he is going to meet Melody on a new date. But Nordin realizes that George is smelly because of their lunch. George is terribly embarrassed, but does not dare to cancel the date. Nordin gives him a peppermint candy.
George finds a melody on the beach. However, he tries to talk as little as possible, or to keep his distance so that the young woman does not smell him. This does not prevent the physical education teacher from beginning to reveal his feelings to her. When he tries to kiss, Giorgi turns his head. Melody leaves annoyed by the wind.
Timothy wants to look for a job
Although Victor always tries to convince his son to resume his studies, the latter defends his position. He also states that he is ready to look for a job. Victor points out that he won’t find anything good enough without a degree. But Timothy still does not change his mind.
Later, Victor and Filipina walk around the estate and meet Timothy. The latter is interested in a scientific article, although he claims that he will start looking for a job soon. Victor talks about the importance of learning, except Timothy doesn’t want to hear anything.
In their office, Filipina tells Victor that she has finally made an appointment at the largest shopping center in the region. However, he can clearly see that his partner is worried. Victor admits to him that he always worried about his son, but never bothered about his studies. But now it is. Filipina then pushes her to use tricks to get her son to continue his studies.
