1923 – Creation of the Walt Disney Company
“In 1923, Walt Disney signed a contract on October 16 to create what became the Disney Brothers Studio. This charming studio, where the first silent Alice comedies were made, became the Walt Disney Company as we know it today.”
1928 – Mickey Mouse was born
“The character Walt Disney created in 1928 was Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Unfortunately, that year he discovered that he did not own the rights to Oswald and could not continue using the character. 1966 – Walt Disney died at the age of 65
