Natalie Portman played Padmé Amidala in George Lucas’ saga
Natalie Portman recalled unusual conversation with king Charles III in 1999, when they met at the premiere of Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace. The royal member reportedly asked the actress if she had participated in the first films in the saga of George Lucas.

The first film in the franchise, Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hopehowever, was released in 1977 — years before Portman born in 1981. She could have acted as a baby only in Return of the Jediwhich hit theaters in 1983.
