On Monday, December 11, everything starts here…
Jimmy was arrested by the police
Finally coming out of his coma, Thibault finally goes to his girlfriend’s house after a whole weekend off. The two lovers enjoy their reunion, then it’s Jimmy’s turn, still hiding in Jasmine’s house, to find his brother with relief. Jimmy takes the opportunity to admit that he was wrong about Jasmine’s report against Thibaut. As the two boys hug, Jasmine feels a little uncomfortable.
The three then sit down together to discuss the events leading up to the workshop furnace explosion. For arguing with Jim, Thibaut was punished by his father, who assigned him to take care of the deliveries at the workshop. On the spot, Thibault recalls meeting Thomas Lacroix, who came to prepare for the first years exams the next day. If Thibaut really saw him with a roll in his hand, he couldn’t say that it was a roll of wax paper. Thibaut then stumbles upon Berenice drunkenly and helps her out of the workshop with her belongings. Although Thibault is reluctant to accuse Lacroix without proof, Jim notes that the latter refrained from revealing his presence at the atelier to the police. Evidence to him that he is guilty.
At the Institute, Kelly questions Jasmine about her reunion with Thibault. The latter admits that she felt very uncomfortable considering that Jimmy tried to kiss her. Kelly reassures her: in the end, nothing happened between them and Jasmine has no feelings for Jimmy. Faced with her friend’s support, Jasmin decides to be honest with her and convince her that Thibault saw Thomas in the workshop with the wax paper in hand before the explosion. He adds that the latter did not say anything to the police, which makes him even more suspicious. But Kelly defends her father tooth and nail.
However, Jasmine allows herself to question Lacroix directly at the end of the lesson. The professor states that Thibault must have seen it wrong because he had a classic roll of baking paper. As for Berenica, Thomas admits that he didn’t even meet her that evening. Kelly intervenes to end the discussion, then tells Jasmine to get out of the way.
Meanwhile, Teissier receives news from Mark about Leroy’s sons. He is especially interested in where Jimmy is hiding. Mark reveals that his boss is facing three years in prison for desertion, but will be able to escape thanks to his extenuating circumstances. Mark doesn’t hesitate to confide in his best friend that Iris, the mother of his sons, reconnected with Jim 6 months ago and everything that follows. Unfortunately, Jimmy refuses to go to the police. Tessier then advises Mark to find someone who can reason with Jim.
Back at home, Jasmine tells Jim about the progress of their investigation. The latter accuses him of trusting Kelly. After Lacroix denies involvement in the bombing, Jim wants to pressure him into confessing. Jasmine stops him and reminds him that it is too dangerous for him to go out.
After making Jasmine believe he wouldn’t do anything, Jim leaves her house to confront Lacroix outside the doors of the Institute. He accuses him of blowing up the stove and hiding from the policemen in the workshop. Although Jimmy yells at him about the car, Thomas remains calm and denies it outright.
Jimmy then returns to Jasmine, who has been waiting anxiously for him. Jimmy realizes that he should have listened because Lacroix didn’t admit anything. Jasmine thinks it’s a good time for Jimmy to go to the police. The latter agrees to go there the next day. At the same time, the gendarmerie captain knocks on the door. The police arrested Jimmy, who cooperates with…
Carla plays the diva
At the Swamps Neighbor, Carla took her prop, which took over Amber’s old room. During breakfast, a young woman announces that she will not be able to shop because of her pregnancy. Gaitan agrees to go to his place. Instead, Carla has to cook dinner. However, he already has plans for an evening with Berenice. Anais and Deva can’t believe it. Only Livio is lenient.
On the grounds of the institute, Carla and Livio are talking together when Anais joins them to ask if they’ve seen the chocolate she kept in her cupboard specifically for Chef Armand’s module. Carla admits that she ate the entire tablet. If Anais is angry with him, Livio defends the first year, who states that he needs magnesium for the baby.
Later, Anais complains about Carla’s diva behavior with the other housemates. Most agree with her, but they are also ready to give the young girl another chance to integrate into the dormitory. Livio points out that if Anais insists on Carla’s release, she should announce it to Rose herself—that is, to Carla’s biological mother. Needless to say, it will be difficult.
During the lesson, Carla confides in Berenica that she plans to use her pregnancy, and then her status as a single mother, to reign as a real housemate princess. He knows very well that no one will dare to free him, so he might as well take advantage of it.
Solal faces a dilemma
In Institute Park, Lionel discovers Solal. The latter is still motivated by her fitness program, so much so that she decided to cut sugar out of her diet. Lionel is excited. However, she wonders how her friend will be able to taste the pastries in Landiras’s classes.
Indeed, Solal faces a dilemma on the Landiras course. When the professor tastes his cheesecake, he notices that it lacks sugar. He wants Soal to taste the original recipe to see the difference. Solal then declares that he hates chestnut cream. Landiras asks him to push himself a little, for good reason. Solal tastes a small portion of her teacher’s cheesecake, then carefully spits it into a cloth. Noticing this, Landiras is astonished.
Later, Landiras calls Solal on the Institute grounds to try to get his reaction. Solal says she just hates chestnut cream, but she loves all other desserts. Lionel agrees. Landiras admits she was relieved to think her student had a sugar problem, even though she was actually going to get him for the institute’s Christmas magazine. Solal has no choice but to accept.
