An Argentine man, whose identity was not revealed, was arrested this Sunday (10) after being caught with two wild birds trapped in cages. The man is a vagrant and must answer for mistreatment and environmental crimes.
According to information from the Military Police, the suspect was approached on BR-163, near the Zitão gas station. During an inspection, the military found the two improvised cages, where there were a black-headed parakeet and a crow.
