Warning, this article contains many spoilers for future episodes of Un si grand soleil. If you don’t want to understand anything, don’t read the following!
It’s been a few weeks since Ian (Konstantin Balsani) has experienced a real descent into hell. After Pierre Luhan (Benjamin Gaitet), a man who killed his wife in a car accident, is released, the policeman becomes more and more consumed with his anger.
In last week’s episodes of Un Si Grand Soleil broadcast on France 2, Ian, who is having a hard time seeing Alexandra’s killer rebuild his life, even went so far as to physically attack Pierre Luhan.
A violent reaction that had serious consequences for the life of Lt. Cross, as the latter was suspended for 3 days due to Pierre’s complaint of assault and battery.
But will a cop who refuses to see a therapist for anger management stop there? At the end of Friday’s episode, while Pierre and Emma share an intimate moment, a young man receives an anonymous message that reads “Murderer, get out of Montpellier or I will kill you.” Is Ian behind this threat?
Did Ian send a threatening message to Pierre?
In the episode of Un si grand soleil, broadcast this Monday evening on France 2, Florent contacted Commissioner Becker to warn him that his client, Pierre Luhan, had received a threatening text message the day before.
The lawyer strongly suspects Yan behind this blackmail. If Becker defends Lieutenant Cross and confirms that there is nothing to prove that he is guilty, the latter is called back to the police station.
On the spot, Ian claims he’s not the author, but Alex finds it hard to believe him. But during the investigation, Alex and Commissioner Becker will come to the conclusion that two different people are looking for Pierre.
And at the end of the day, the identity of the culprit will be revealed. It would indeed be someone like Henri Lebrun, a man Pierre seems to know well.
He is actually the father of Melanie, Pierre’s ex-girlfriend. The latter killed himself from the bridge 5 years earlier. The young woman was depressed and Pierre could not help her.
Also, after the death of his partner, he fell into depression and started drinking. On the other hand, Henri Lebrun is convinced that Pierre is a manipulator. Called by the police, Henri explains to them that Pierre is an unscrupulous criminal who attacked his daughter and forced her to commit suicide.
Is Pierre really a manipulator? Did he deliberately kill Ian’s wife? The answer in the next episodes of Un Si Grand Soleil.
