Netflix subscribers from several countries complained on social media on Monday (11) about problems accessing the streaming platform. For about three hours, users received the “tvq-pb-101” error message. Initially, the platform suggested that people’s internet connection was the problem.
The site Downdetector, which monitors the functioning of applications and services in real time, reveals that complaints from Netflix subscribers began to increase around 3pm. As soon as the instability began, users took to social media to comment (and, of course, post memes) about the situation.

Reports of devices experiencing problems getting Netflix to work include Roku smart TVs, as well as many others, as well as people trying to access the platform via PS5 and Xbox, from cities in Brazil, the United States and other countries.
It took Netflix’s status page a few hours to notice the issues before updating. Approximately three hours after the instability began, the green light came on again, indicating that the platform had returned to normal operation.
There have been no similar complaints reported on other services or issues noted with cloud services such as Google or Amazon servers. Until this note was published, Netflix had not commented on the instability.
