Henri Lebrun is determined to give justice to his daughter

Henri Lebrun, Melanie’s father, decided to sue Pierre for incitement to suicide. Although he wanted to do this at the time, his wife was strongly against making the situation worse. When Pierre was arrested for Alexandra’s death, Henri Lebrun simply surrendered. However, now that Pierre is out of prison, free knowledge is unbearable for him, and Henri wants him to pay for all the damage he has caused her. So Commissioner Becker allows Alex to investigate Melanie’s suicide as long as she promises not to tell Lt. Cross.

Later, Ian returned to the police station. After making sure her therapy is going well, Commissioner Becker entrusts her with the car theft investigation.

Meanwhile, Alex goes to the hospital and asks Pierre about the circumstances of Melanie’s death. The physio then tells her that her partner has always been depressed and that she said she wanted to end it. Despite this, he did not expect her to take any action. Melanie went out for a walk one evening and only a few hours later the police rang her doorbell to say she had thrown herself off a bridge. Uncomfortable, Alex then informs him that Henri Lebrun has filed a complaint against him for inciting suicide. According to Pierre, Henri always blamed him for letting his daughter die, despite the fact that he tried his best to get out of depression. He even took him to all the psychologists in the world.

When the policeman tries to understand why Henri Lebrun accuses him of being responsible for his daughter’s death, Pierre replies that he was not present during his daughter’s illness because they had been angry over the years. As Alex tries to find out if the witnesses can back him up, Pierre gives him the names of friends he’s cut off since Melanie’s death.

A particularly worried Pierre calls Floran and tells her what just happened. The lawyer then tries to calm him down, telling him that there is little chance that Mr. Lebrun’s appeal will be allowed. So he asks her not to worry too much, but above all to trust him.

Alex calls Pierre’s friends. Everyone confirms that Pierre and Melanie did not argue and the physiotherapist took good care of their partner.

In the afternoon, Alex calls Henri Lebrun and informs him that the prosecutor will not proceed with his complaint due to lack of evidence. A hard blow to Melanie’s father, who doesn’t hesitate to treat the police officer as incompetent.

Florenti calls Pierre and informs him that the complaint is closed. Relieved, Pierre then finds Emma and tells her how good he feels with her.

Not far from there, Henri Lebrun is more determined than ever to get justice for his daughter. That’s why he contacts a journalist and pushes him to write an article so that everyone will know who Pierre Luhan really is… But is Pierre Luhan really innocent?
