Ezra Miller risks losing the role of The Flash after the solo film

Ezra Miller has been involved in several controversies in recent months and the consequences could go beyond the courts: according to Deadline, the actor should be replaced as The Flash. in DC films after the character’s solo feature, due out in theaters in 2023.

According to the site, after recent controversies, in which the actor was accused of assaulting in Hawaii and also of abusing a young woman who lives with him, the studio decided to replace the character’s interpreter.

However, this should only happen after the release of The Flash, which has already been recorded with the actor in the lead role and is expected to be a major feature of Warner Bros in 2023. Even so, the studio is still considering what it will be. the strategy of advertising the work in view of Ezra’s recent controversy.

Ezra Miller controversy

In March of this year, Ezra Miller was arrested by the local Hawaii police for disorderly conduct and harassment at a karaoke club, where Miller allegedly shouted obscenities and fussed with other visitors to the venue.

Additionally, it was recently revealed that the actor received a restraining order from a couple in Hawaii. This couple claims that Ezra Miller broke into their apartment and threatened them with murder, before stealing many of their belongings. However, the restraining order was lifted on 12 April.

In late April, Ezra Miller was reportedly having trouble with the law again. The Flash interpreter in theaters was arrested on second degree assault charges. The Hawaii Police Department confirmed the story, adding more details. In the early hours of Tuesday 19, Miller reportedly caused tension when he was invited to withdraw from a meeting at a residence in Lower Puna, Hawaii.

The tension would have evolved for Miller to throw a chair, which would have hit a 26-year-old woman, who would have suffered a cut on her forehead. According to the story, the woman in question refused treatment for her wound.

“The Flash” has already finished recording in 2021 and is in post-production, with a preview date scheduled for June 23, 2023.
