The Board of Directors of Flamengo approved the budget for the year 2024. The expected revenue of the club was R$ 1,150 billion in total. The initial budget allocated for hiring was 30 million euros (R$ 160 million). The value is lower than the council’s initial proposal, which reached R$200 million.
This is a base value that should grow based on player sales. According to the budget, the deal for athletes foreseen by the rubro-negro for 2024 is 10 million euros (53 million R$). If the transfers of the Rossoneri athletes exceed this initial value, the extra amount collected will be allocated to purchases.
In a recent meeting with members of the political group União Rubro-Negra, Rodolfo Landim told members that Flamengo will close 2023 with a total turnover of R$1.3 billion.
