Putting an end to anxiety over how Brazilians would watch the 2024 Golden Globes, TNT and HBO Max confirmed on Tuesday (12) that they will be responsible for broadcasting in Brazil. The awards ceremony, which will take place on January 7 in Los Angeles, can be seen on the cable channel TNT and in HBO streaming starting from 10 pm (Brasilia time).
The 2024 Golden Globes will have two more awards than the last edition: Best cinematographic and box office result and Best cabaret performance.
On TV, the favorite is Succession, with nine nominations in total. At Cinema, Barbie was nominated for nine categories and Oppenheimer at eight. Both appear on the list of candidates in the three main categories: Best Film – the first competes as a comedy, while the second as a drama -, Best Screenplay and Best Director. The 2024 Golden Globes will take place on January 7 at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles. In Brazil the awards ceremony will be broadcast starting at 10pm on the TNT channel and on the HBO Max streaming platform.
