Hitting theaters in 2015, Terminator Genisys sees Resistance leader John Connor send Sergeant Kyle Reese into the past to protect his mother, Sarah Connor, and preserve the future of humanity. Unexpected events cause a temporary fracture.

Sara and Kyle find themselves in a new version of the past and find an unexpected ally: the Guardian. Together they must face a new enemy. The threat has changed.

This is the first time in twelve years that Arnold Schwarzenegger is reprising his iconic role as the Terminator since Terminator 3. It was actually replaced by a digital version in Terminator Renaissance. This length matches Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) and The rise of the machines (2003).

Emilia Clarke, famous for the series Game Of Thrones, brings to life the iconic character of Sarah Connor here. The young British actor noted that for his role he was inspired by Daenerys and not by previous film versions of the SF saga.

Due to Arnold Schwarzenegger’s age (he was 67 at the time), it was decided that instead of special effects that would make him look thirty years younger, his aging would be incorporated into the story. In fact, the skin tissue that covers his robot body will age like any human.
