We interviewed the cast of Rebel Moon – Part 1: Fire Girl, producer Deborah Snyder and director Zack Snyder himself.

After years of work on the DC Extended Universe, Zack Snyder finally ready for launch your ambitious sci-fi universe with Rebel Moon. This mythology begins in Rebel Moon – Part 1: Catching Firewhich reaches the Netflix catalog on December 22nd the first film divided into parts.




I interviewed the actors Sofia Boutella, Djimon Hounsou, Charlie Hunnam, Ed Skrein, Michiel Huisman, Ray Fisher, Staz Nair AND E. Duffythe manufacturer Deborah Snyder and director Zack Snyder himself, when they came to Brazil to participate in CCXP, and commented on the universe of Rebel Moon at DitoCinema.

Rebel Moon is the most ambitious project of Zack Snyder’s career, so much so has been in development for decades. “What’s interesting is that now that we’ve started to develop this concept into a sort of universal mythology, we basically have to create our own canon and understand the rules of our world,” explains the director.

In the interview he says that the process of creating the rules began with a blank canvas where everything was possible, until they narrowed down the ideas to understand what the essence of this world is and, consequently, what could be done or no.

This process gave Snyder more freedom to present his ideas than his previous work, especially given his experience in the DC Universe.

I think it’s fun to not have rules for a while, it’s fun…
