For years, Johnny Flynn has made a name for himself as an up and coming British actor in films such as The beast Yes Hash operation – but long before he appeared on screen he was first and foremost a folk singer. Here is the official synopsis: “Two little thieves, Mike (Flynn) and Troy (Poulter), are on a mission, the ‘score’, which they both hope will change their situation. In a roadside bar, as after the delivery, Troy falls in love with the waitress, Gloria (Ackie), and begins to question her life choices as the threat of real danger drives him to meet them. “

Writer and director Malachi Smyth was inspired by an intriguing mix of French New Wave cinema and indies like Paul Thomas Anderson. “It’s the combination of them being very free to experiment, but also being inspired by the gangster movies and traditional Hollywood westerns of the 1930s and 1940s that inspired me,” he says. “This combination, with the extra touch of European style, has produced very distinctive films.”
