Here It All Begins: What’s in store for Wednesday, December 20, 2023 Episode 821 [SPOILERS]

Vicki takes a step towards her mother

Before classes, Salome and Anais meet at a local cafe. Both regret that Eugene was brought to the institute. Salome suggests telling Vic and Hortense the truth. On the contrary, Anais suggests saying nothing to them, but to stop making wishes come true. Salome agrees and prefers to concentrate on the Christmas menu.

A little later, it’s Vicki’s turn to go to the cafe to talk to her mother. He confirms that someone took his phone to send him an invitation. Eugene is uncomfortable. But she still wants to give Vic a Christmas present: the tea set she loved as a child. Eugene explains to his youngest daughter that this is his way of asking for forgiveness for the way he treated her. A touched Vicky accepts the gift and stays with her mother for a bit to check it out.

At the workshop, Vicky feels free from weight. He tells his brigade mates that the interview with his mother went well. Looking back, he believes that the wish-fulfiller was right to bring him. Anais is delighted.

Hortense, on the other hand, is desperate to find someone who fulfills her wishes. Mehdi finds that she is focusing her anger on her mother on someone else responsible, when she should be facing what is really eating at her. When Vicky joins them, she informs her sister of her interview with her mother, convinced that the latter has changed and deserves a second chance. Angered, Hortense begins to think that Vic and Mehdi have arranged everything behind her back, even though she does not want to see her mother.

Back at the workshop, Vicky presents her note to Salome and Anais, who congratulate her on her job. Seeing her clerk’s sad expression, Salome questions him. Vic says that Hortense is still angry and now believes that she is the one who grants wishes at the institute. Seeing that Vicky feels guilty, Salome can’t take it anymore and reveals the truth to him. Together with Anais, he explains the reasons for their actions and apologizes for the proportions he took. However, Vicky refuses to let them tell Hortense the truth. He prefers to talk to his sister alone.

Vicky finds Hortense in the greenhouse and promises that her mother didn’t bring her here on purpose. Hortense realizes she has been kidnapped and apologizes for cursing her. Then Vicky admits that he read Hortense’s wish: the latter wanted her little sister to be happy. A very distraught Vicky confirms that she’s been around for a long time now thanks to her progress in cooking, her relationship with Enzo, and especially her relationship with Hortense. Vic points out that they are there today because Hortense has forgiven him for all the low blows. He feels he could do the same for their mother. However, Hortense declares that this is beyond her strength.

Despite everything, Hortense tries to join her mother at a local cafe. Eugene apologizes for all the damage he’s caused her, and then wants to give her a Christmas present. But Hortense believes that nothing can fix things. Eugene regrets his insistence and leaves, leaving his eldest daughter in tears…

Joachim wants to start a family

The magic of Christmas has invaded the Institute after a mysterious man took responsibility for granting the wishes hanging on Double A. Even Olivia gets involved, much to Clotilda’s surprise. Joachim, in turn, is tempted.

A little later, Clotilda surprises Joachim into fulfilling her wish. She gently teases him about practical prejudice while he talks about positive visualization.

In the afternoon, Olivia surprises Clotilda standing in front of Double A’s tree, the latter saying that she saw Joachim making a wish there. She confides that it reminds them of their age difference because they don’t enjoy the same things. Olivia thinks this is pretty cool, allowing them to enrich each other. So Clotilda intervenes in the game and hangs the wish on the tree. Joachim joins her, excited to see her.

At the end of the day, Clotilda and Joachim meet at home. Clotilda questions her companion, wondering the content of her wish. Faced with her insistence, Joachim reveals that he wants to have a child with her…

David denies

At the park, Judy and Berenia brainstorm a diplomatic way to confront David about his drinking problem. At the same time, he joins them and invites them for a walk on the beach. Judas and Berenia accept his proposal.

Once, David takes a bottle of alcohol from his bag and offers his friends a drink. Judah and Berenia refuse, but David does not give up. After that, despite the cold and wind, David unties himself to jump into the water. Judah and Berenice try to restrain him, in vain.

After the swim, Jude and Berenice help her dress and borrow their clothes to cover herself. They finally confront him about what they found in his room. David denies a problem with alcohol. He also denies being injured by Du Chesnay.

To Deva’s surprise, David goes to his roommate to see her. While Gaitan goes to make her some herbal tea to warm up, David drops the bag on the ground. The sound of glass was heard. Deva offers to move her things, but David adamantly refuses to touch them and insists on doing so.
