Today he is an international star: did you know this young actor opposite Elijah Wood?

After taking part in the Battle of New York alongside Captain America, Hulk, Iron Man, Thor and Hawkeye in The First Avengers, she was mostly known by Marvel fans as Black Widow. However, Scarlett Johansson’s rich career is far from limited to her superhero exploits in the MCU.

This very modestly successful family comedy follows the wanderings of a child neglected by his parents and determined to find a new home.

It was towards the end of the film, when a young North (opposite in the photo) was meeting the Nelsons, apparently perfect in every way, that Scarlett Johansson appeared, playing the little girl in the family (see here – above).

The young actress, who had already played in the theater with a certain Ethan Hawke, and who also auditioned for the role of Little Judy in Jumanji (a role that was eventually won by Kirsten Dunst), very quickly got other roles and other and more important ones.

After The Irresistible North, we were able to see her role as the daughter of Sean Connery and Kate Capshaw in Just Cause, to take part in the third opus of the famous Christmas franchise Mom, I Missed the Plane and in 1998 to play opposite Robert Redford in Horse Whisper: a role that allowed her It allowed him to show his talent all over the world.
