POCO X6 Pro could arrive in January as a global version of the Redmi K70e


Rumors indicate that Xiaomi is expected to announce the POCO X6 Pro 5G as a global version of the Redmi K70e, with Android 14, HyperOS and Dimensity 8300 chip

After the launch of the line Redmi K70 in China a few weeks ago, the Xiaomi is now working on the international market launch of devices with different nomenclatures, starting with Redmi K70e like POCO X6 Pro 5G.



According to the website Xiaomiui, The POCO X6 Pro 5G is expected to be announced at the end of January 2024 during a presentation in India, one of Xiaomi’s main markets.

The model was identified by code names duchamp_global, duchamp_eea_global AND duchamp_in_global which relate to the global, European and Indian regions.

It was also revealed that the device will boot with Android 14 out of the box and the new HyperOS interface from Xiaomi.

Launched in China in Novemberor Redmi K70e it offers a 6.67-inch screen with OLED panel, 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and high brightness of up to 1,800 nits.

The device is equipped with the fast Dimensity 8300 processor from the MediaTekalong with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage, with a large 5,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging.

It’s possible that the launch of the global version will introduce small changes to the spec sheet, such as different memories or repurposed cameras, although the essence of the design and most of the specifications will be retained.
