New Amsterdam is over: We explain the end of the medical series

It’s time to say goodbye to Dr. Max Goodwin. After five years of good and faithful service, the doctor, played by Ryan Eggold, is preparing to hang up his coat for good. This Wednesday, December 21, from 12:35pm, TF1 viewers will be able to watch the final episode of the fifth and final season of New Amsterdam.

Max said goodbye to New Amsterdam

At the beginning of this latest episode, titled “We can all help you“Max makes a speech in front of the entire hospital and recalls the moment he first heard the words: “how can i help“. He also specifies that this is the question that inspired him to become a doctor. He also remembers saying this sentence on his first day here. Max then asks the congregation of doctors to always remember the moment of their calling. .

After Max and his teams rescue this woman from the Ukraine, Max talks to Wilder before leaving New York. He explains to her that he has to make Luna the center of his life, and so he has to turn away from what he loves… thus including her. Bloom, Reynolds, Iggy and Martin find happiness

At the same time, Bloom starts a new life in his apartment. He is determined to control his future. Later, Vanessa, his addict sister, arrives at a Narcotics Anonymous meeting. Then he finds Lauren here and the two of them are holding hands, hoping to repair a very damaged relationship.
