Un Si Grand Soleil Preview: Episode Summary for Friday, December 22, 2023 [SPOILERS]

Johanna makes a game-changing discovery

Alex was removed from the investigation into the death of Pierre Luhan. Indeed, Judge Laplace felt he was too close to Ian to do his job. Therefore, it is the SRPJ that will take up the issue.

In turn, Florent informs Johanna that he has read Melanie Lebrun’s notebook. So he apologizes to his colleague, but the latter fires him. Indeed, Johanna is furious with him for thinking that Ian was guilty of the murder, and makes it clear that his apology will not erase the behavior he has displayed since the case began.

Then Johanna meets Ian in the guest room. After each makes sure they are okay, they discuss the ongoing investigation. For Ian, there is something wrong with this story. Replaying the film of his years with Alexandra, he realized that he had never mentioned Melanie Lebrun’s name. Although he mentioned her name several times in the notebook, Ian does not understand why his wife never told him about it, even though they told each other everything. As a police officer, he was the right person to give her advice and protect Melanie. That’s why he asks Johanna to talk to Astrid, Alexandra’s best friend. If he was hiding something, Astrid would surely know what it was and why.

Later, Johanna meets Astrid, who is convinced that Alexandra never mentioned Melanie Lebrun’s name in front of her. According to him, Alexandra never hid this story from him, because they told each other everything. While Johanna asks if she’s noticed a change in her friend’s mood, Astrid says no. Alexandra was a ray of sunshine and very happily married.

In the evening, Johanna calls from Astrid. Disturbed by their conversation, the latter went to the directory of the university where Alexandra taught. In 2018, Melanie was in her first year of a Contemporary Literature degree. However, Alexandra was a master’s professor. He was working at the university that year, so Alexandra and Melanie were on different campuses. In other words, it is unlikely that they crossed paths. The meetings mentioned in Melanie’s notebook could not have existed…

FLORE Found work

At the roommate, Alice confides in Ludo that Flore asked her for more time to pay the rent. Tiago, who overheard their conversation, assures that his mother will pay. If it seems a little crazy at first, the teenager says he’ll keep his word. Indeed, Flor can’t stand debts and always manages. Ludo and Alice then thank him for warning them.

In turn, Ulysses found Flore a job at a painting school. Because he has to pay the first rent quickly, Tiago’s mother starts the day.

Meanwhile, Allen calls Tiago. Indeed, the Doctor felt a little uncomfortable with Flora after they left. Tiago assures her that he is very happy to have found her and is not going to fight with her over small things. After the first session, Flore returns to his roommate and then gives Ellis an advance on the rent before promising the rest when he gets his first paycheck.

At the same time, Allen tells Elizabeth that his daughter has found a job at a fine arts school. Knowing that Flore is a nude model, Elizabeth finds it strange that she chose to do this instead of being a switchboard operator at L.Cosmétiques. While Allen is angry, he tells his partner how odious he is.

At the end of the day, Tiago confides in his mother that he loves his high school and that he has made new friends. Although he sees that Tom is uncomfortable with his homosexuality, the teenager does not see him as evil. Then he tells his mother that one of his comrades has fallen in love with him. Only he is not sure that he is gay.
