The coming weeks promise to be especially difficult for Commander Constant (Frank Moncini) in Tomorrow Belongs to Us.
It must be said that the Seti police completed their work at the end of the year. After investigating Flamand’s death, Commander Constant and his teams must deal with a strange Santa Claus who runs rampant in the set. And suffice it to say, the police aren’t going to give him any presents.
I met her a few days ago at a promotional day for the next episode of Josephine, Guardian of Anger, which will air on December 25th. Frank Monsin, Martin Constant’s translator, spoke to the Allociné microphone about the Christmas plot, the reunion of Martin and Rafael (Jennifer Lorre), and the arch dedicated to Martin and Nordin (Youssef Agal). Great program in perspective!
Allociné: Martin will actively participate in the investigation of the robbery of Christmas presents. What can you tell me about this festive plot?
Frank Monsin : He’s a villain we look up to lightly because he’s a gentleman thief Santa who robs the rich to give to the poor. So this side of Robin Hood doesn’t make us hate him, but it’s still a heist, and it ruins the lives of some of the characters in Tomorrow Belongs to Us who are about to heist. Mariana (Luce Muschel) and the brunettes will become victims. It’s a double question because with this Santa we’re about to dive into something more dramatic and much more important.
Between Martin and Rafael, it’s a beautiful love story. Between Martin’s rehabilitation and Camille’s arrest, which forces Rafael to settle in Rennes while awaiting his daughter’s trial, they’re not really stuck. How will the union between them go?
They will be soft. They were greatly hoped for by the people who had not stopped writing to me during our absence. And they will be for a long time, because they will never leave each other. But it will be interesting to go through professional relationships through a couple who adore each other, but sometimes find themselves in opposition.
Can we hope they settle down together?
We can fully hope, yes.
The bond between Martin and Nordin grows stronger over the episodes. Will we have more scenes centered around this relationship in the future?
is planned. Its shooting will start around January, in which father and son will be involved. Martin and Nordin find themselves surrounded by a character from the past who will put them to the test. Many of the scenes between Martin and Nordin are planned for our greatest joy, because we have an ease in shooting together and a lot of complicity. He is my dream child.
What is your take on the Nordin-Martin relationship?
When I heard that Martin was going to have a son, I was so moved that I welcomed him and took him under my wing. I explained everything that was needed. And even today, we have a professional and intimate affect. I am very attentive to what he is going through in his own life.
