After Steven Spielberg movies, 90’s movies and 80’s movies, the Movie Quiz is back for its fourth installment, this time with a Christmas special, or rather, a “Christmas” special.
The principle remains the same, you will have to try to find which movie title these individual letters come from. Before you start, take a look at the previous edition dedicated to the films of the 80s.
The very first letter suggested was an “E” in a fairly conventional typography, but in bright white and a very luminous electric blue background. Three 80s fantasy film classics are on offer: Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice, Joe Dante’s Gremlins and finally Steven Spielberg’s ET the Extraterrestrial. It was the last sentence that was correct and 85% of you found the correct answer.
Another question, rather tricky, we must admit, is that it shows a small orange r with a black horizontal line in the middle, which looks quite futuristic. Here again, three SF/fantasy classics are suggested: Back to the Future by Robert Zemeckis, which received 13% of the answers, Robocop by Paul Verhoeven, which was chosen by 23%, and finally the correct answer Blade Runner by Ridley Scott. Which only 64% of you found.
The image that was the most difficult in terms of percentages of results with only 34% correct answers was another R, this time indeed of Robocop. Many of you actually fell into the trap set by the Rollerball suggestion with more than half (57%) responding to that suggestion, while 9% of you thought you recognized the R in Rambo.
These are the nine new letters we’re bringing you today that make up the word “Christmas” as we approach the last holiday of the year. So try to treat yourself to perfection ahead of time!
