Of the 90 spots analyzed in the state, 81 are swimmable and nine are in unsuitable conditions.
The State Foundation for Environmental Protection (Fepam) published, this Friday (22/12), the second bulletin of the Bathing project for the 2023/2024 season. Of the 90 spots analyzed in the state, 81 are swimmable and nine are in unsuitable conditions.
Check for inappropriate spots
This week, the cities of Jaguari and Rosário do Sul were removed from the list of inappropriate spots, as were two spots in Pelotas. Due to the flood it was not possible to collect in Dom Pedrito. In this case the recommendation is that swimmers avoid the Passo Real area.
In the summer period, warnings on places suitable or not for bathing will be highlighted on information signs posted at water collection points. Holidaymakers will also be able to consult the results of the analyzes on the Balneabilidade web application.
