Paramount + has released the first photos of “Escola de Quebrada”, which marks the debut of the Kondzilla company, responsible for the “Tuning” series, in film production.
“Escola de Quebrada” is a comedy that follows Luan (Mauricio Sasi), a young public school student from the East Zone of São Paulo who, tired of always being excluded from the cliques and being invisible to Camila (Laura Castro), wants to become respected and popular. But in trying to be part of some group, he only manages to create enmity with everyone and even jeopardizes the school’s beloved futsal championship.
To avoid the worst he will have to rely on friends Rayane (Bea Oliveira) and David (Lucas Righi), looking for a way to save the championship and get the much-needed attention of Camila.
Portraying Luan’s muse, actress Laura Castro is the best known of this group, a member of the vocal group BFF Girls, who will star in a series on HBO Max.
Director of clips for MC Fioti, Kevinho, JottaPê, Mirella, Dani Russo and many others, Kaique Alves makes his feature film directorial debut with the project, alongside Thiago Eva – from the clip “Desce Pro Play (PA PA PA)”, by Zaac with feat of Anitta and Tyga.
Kaique Alves also writes the script for the comedy, which was shot over the weekend and doesn’t have a premiere date yet.
