Deep in the jungles of India, during a routine patrol, Bagheera alerts the panther to an unusual sound: the cry of a child unlike any other, the cub of a man. Not knowing what to do with him, Bagheera decides to entrust him to a hospitable family of wolves, who raise him as one of their own.
But about ten years later, when a young boy named Mowgli has grown up, terrible news shakes the company of wolves: it is said that the tiger Shere Kahn has returned to the jungle and is looking for a male cub. Faced with the urgency of the situation, Bagheera then offers to take Mowgli to the nearest village among his true people.
