Volante is waiting to sign a formal agreement with the French team to travel to Paris; check the details
OR PSG it will open the coffers to count on Gabriele Moscardo in the squad called up for 2024. The French club already has a verbal agreement with Corinthians for the transfer of the athlete, which is worth 20 million euros (approximately R$ 107 million), plus 2 million euros if the objectives are achieved. The information was released by journalist Fabrizio Romano, an expert in the footballer market. The Brazilian club had already dealt with the issue.
“I would like him to stay for a long time. The end of the cycle has come. His head is already out and we have given him all the freedom of choice. Let him be happy,” said the newly elected president of Corinthians, Augusto Meloin an interview with band a few days ago, even before the information on the amounts at stake was announced.
Gabriel Moscardo at PSG, here we go! I understand that a verbal agreement has been reached with Corinthians for a fixed fee of 20 million euros.
The package also includes 2 million euro add-ons.

Gabriel Moscardo will travel to Paris as soon as the clubs formalize the agreement. He will undergo medical examinations and sign his first contract with a European team. The amount is less than the 30 million euros (R$160 million) that the Sao Paulo club expected to obtain with the transfer. Even so, this value establishes the trading as the most expensive sale in the history of black and white.
The previous record belonged to Pedrinhocurrently at Atlético Mineiro, left for 18 million euros (R$ 96 million at current prices) for Benfica.
The midfielder came from the club’s youth categories and made his debut with the senior national team on 28 June, in the 3-0 victory over Liverpool (URU), in the sixth round of the group stage of Liberators’ Cup. He earned his place at Corinthians under the guidance of Vanderlei Luxemburgo and was called up to the Brazilian pre-Olympic team. Mano Menezes didn’t let him start playing like his predecessor, perhaps already knowing that the team would have to get by without him on the pitch.

At just 18 years old, Moscardo finished his first professional season with 25 games, one goal and one assist. His performance had already aroused the interest of clubs from the Old Continent, such as Barcelona and Chelsea, but everything suggested that the destination would be Mbappé’s team. The Parque São Jorge club holds 80% of the economic rights of the player, whose contract – recently renewed – is valid until June 2026.
If the operation is completed successfully, Moscardo will be able to join another young Brazilian at Paris Saint-Germain. The French club is the favorite to purchase defender Lucas Beraldo from San Paolo. Corinthians intend to use PSG money to hire reinforcements. For now the new president has no other purpose.
