Netflix: Rated 4.3/5, this series just ended after 14 seasons and you probably missed it

Launched in the US in 2009, Archer has enjoyed a rather exceptional longevity. This animated series for adults takes place within the framework of an international spy agency, whose highly trained agents constantly destabilize, humiliate and deceive their colleagues. A certain sterling archer in mind who can easily be compared to Hubert Bonisseur de la Bath (Jean Dujardin) of OSS 117.

Archer has ended on the other side of the Atlantic after 14 seasons, the last of which is now available on Netflix. Despite great reviews and a (rather exceptional) 4.3/5 rating on AlloCiné, this is one of his works that has gone unnoticed in France.

It must be said that its animation style, borrowed from 1950s spy films, with its dark characteristics, as well as caustic and sometimes sarcastic humor, does not appeal to everyone. Add to that an obnoxious protagonist (and not just with women) who shows no subtlety and you lose yet another chunk of viewers. Fans of archers, on the other hand, highlight a fun and high-quality series that absolutely should not be missed.

If you missed this series, there’s always time to catch up. If its length can be daunting, know that each episode of Archer is only 20 minutes long, and that each season has an average of 10 (8 to 13 to be exact).
