One of the most anticipated releases of 2022, Elvis in Baz Luhrmann It has a soundtrack full of hits by the King of Rock and singers of today as well. In addition to the songs in the voice of Austin Butlerartists like Doja Cat, Eminem and Måneskin are also present in the film.
The biopic follows the rise of Elvis Presley to fame and the singer’s complex relationship with his manager, Colonel Tom Parkerwho discovered it in 1955. The film features Butler in the role of the King of Rock and Tom Hanks as Parker.

recorded by Presley in 1962, cover of nicks appears at the beginning of the film, but without major highlights, easily getting lost in the initial kaleidoscope of images.
Chris Isaak – “A Fool Such as I”
Isaac did the vocals for the actor David Wenhamwhich interprets Hank Snowa kind of reluctant mentor of Elvis – who covers some of the musician’s hits, like this track.
Swae Lee and Diplo – “Tupelo Shuffle”

Oakenfold remixed the track in 2003 and it was a top 10 hit in the UK, while the original version was a B-side of Elvis in 1969 recorded for the film He and the Three Novices.

“Edge of Reality” was recorded by Elvis in 1968 for the movie Live a little, love a little and released as a single – and now won a remix by Impala.

Randolph, who performs with his brother’s band Robert Randolphmakes the voice of Mahalia Jacksonwho sang the classic gospel by Thomas Dorsey at the funeral of Martin Luther King Jr.which has a major impact on Elvis in the movie.

The vocalists who perform Mahalia Jackson and Big Mama Thornton apparently represent the fusion of the sacred and not-so-sacred black influences of Elvis.
