Jurassic Park 2: Pause at 1 hour and 59 minutes and take a good look at this TV show

A small excerpt from Jaws in the first part of the saga transmitted to the screens of Denis Nedre, fake video club posters with Robin Williams and Arnold Schwarzenegger in The Lost World, a tribute to the ship from King Kong or a signature of another work. Ian Malcolm in Jurassic World…

Like many pop culture franchises, the prehistoric epic initiated by Steven Spielberg in 1993 includes many small details hidden around a famous scene, or carefully hidden in the middle of an iconic shot.

The Lost World, which Spielberg made five years after Jurassic Park, and in which Jeff Goldblum’s Chaos travels to Isla Sorna to join his fiancée, isn’t out of the question for Easter eggs, far from it!

The wink we’re interested in today occurs in the final seconds of the feature film. To watch it, press the “pause” button at exactly 1 hour, 59 minutes and 52 seconds into the movie. After successfully neutralizing a T-Rex that has been terrorizing the residents of San Diego, Ian Malcolm, Sarah Hardling and Kelly enjoy some well-deserved rest and watch the T-Rex return live to Isla Sorna.

However, when we freeze the picture on the TV screen and observe the set reflection, we realize that there are not three, but four people sitting on the couch (see above)! The fourth set between Jeff Goldblum and Julianne Moore, big smile, sunglasses and hat.

You guessed it, it’s just Steven Spielberg allowing himself a small appearance in the final minutes of the film.

But this beautiful cameo from the director isn’t the only easter egg hidden in The Lost World. Indeed, throughout the film, you will also notice the presence of screenwriter David Koepp, who is swallowed by a T-Rex, or a sign prohibiting the entry of animals into San Diego.
