The player belonged to Náutico and was on loan until April 2024. Paulo Henrique also completed his purchase and Zé Gabriel renews
Vasco announced this Friday (29) that they have purchased midfielder Matheus Carvalho, who belonged to Náutico. Previously, the agreement was a loan and lasted until April 2024. However, Cruz-Maltino signed the player permanently until the end of 2027, as Jogada10 had anticipated. Cruz-Maltino also confirmed the renewal of Zé Gabriel for two seasons, as already announced in J10. Furthermore, he concluded the purchase of right back Paulo Henrique from Atlético Mineiro, as he also did at J10.
Matteo Carvalho
Signed in May, still with the nickname Cocão, he was a reserve in the Brasileirão, but, when he had the opportunity, he played well. In total, he participated in nine matches. Vasco believes Mateus has the potential to evolve, which is why he made the investment.
The 21-year-old player had already greeted Timbu on his social networks. SAF Vasco will pay R$1.5 million for the negotiation, of which R$500,000 was sent last week. However, the Pernambucans retain 10% of Mateus Carvalho.

In addition to Mateus, Paulo Henrique is also a regular player for Vasco. The full-back has done well this season and Cruz-Maltino confirmed his permanent signing on his goals. The contract will last until December 2027. Midfielder Zé Gabriel has signed the renewal. This way he will remain until December 2025.
