Un Si Grand Soleil Preview: Episode Summary for Monday January 1, 2024 [SPOILERS]

Margo discovers the truth about Akim

Margo never stops thinking about Akim. She is afraid that by protecting herself, she risks missing out on a beautiful love story. He wants to give Akeem another chance. Cecil urges his sister to listen to her heart.

Not far from there, Estelle offers Akim to take her to the police station that evening. They enjoy spending their weekends diving together. At the same time, the policeman gets a call from Margo, but he does not answer.

Estelle finds Karine, Maeva’s mother, at the bar Le 101. She tells him that she has fallen in love with the man she talked about. Karine, seeing her friend as an addict, advises her not to get too attached too quickly.

He reminds her that they’re not at the same stage in life and he doesn’t want Estelle to suffer, especially since Akim has to go to Paris for training in two months. But Estelle is willing to take the risk.

A little later, she gets a call from Gillham, who wants to make an appointment for a massage session on Saturday afternoon. Estelle replies that she is unavailable because she is away for the weekend with her lover. Guilham blames the hit.

To separate Akim and Estelle, Johanna’s uncle encourages Margo to fight for his love. He advises her to go see him. Margot then decides to join Akim at the exit of the police station to confess her feelings to him.

Unfortunately, he witnesses a scene that will put everything into question. He sees Akim and Estelle’s roommates kissing. Sadly, he decides to leave.

Ian was eventually released

Alex shared Maître Doumier’s report. The border police managed to arrest him at the airport at the last minute before he managed to escape to the Central African Republic. Alex leads the interrogation.

He indicates that the notary was planning to leave France on the day of Nathan Laverne’s arrest. Daumier says it’s a coincidence. Alex then asks him why he wanted to go to the Central African Republic, which is strangely the country in which Nathan Laverne focuses his actions.

While Maître Daumier continues to deny, Alec pressures him. The notary concludes with a confession. He admits to making a false will in the name of the Nathan Laverne Association. He admits that the latter killed Pierre Luhan and admits that he knew about it.

Pierre had an uncle who died while in prison. He was supposed to inherit the entire property, about 2 million euros. As he was in prison, he could not receive this amount. Nathan and Domier decided to write a fake will in favor of the association.

They did not think that Pierre would come out so soon. Daumier also explains to him that the association is just a cover and that the money was squandered by Nathan, the notary taking a commission in the process.

Daumier argues: He admits to writing a false will, but he is not a murderer. Nathan decided to kill Pierre when the latter wanted to verify his uncle’s will.

Clement Becker calls Judge Laplace to inform him of Daumier’s confession. The magistrate congratulates Becker and his team on their job and tells them that Ian will be fired immediately.

In turn, Alex calls Johanna to tell her the good news. Ian will come out at 5 o’clock. He is released. Johanna then asks Florent if he can take care of her new client for her, as she has to pick up Ian on his way out of prison.

Florent immediately accepts. Johanna apologizes for treating her unfairly. He admits that he had no prospects. But Florent reassures her, he doesn’t blame her.

At the cabin, Emma reveals to Victor that the police have just arrested Pierre’s real killers. The young woman is relieved that she has finally been released. We restore his dignity.

Johanna is waiting for Ian when he gets out of prison. The latter apologizes for putting him through real hell. He doesn’t know what he would do without her. He confides in her that the whole story has made him realize how much he cares for her. Then they declare their love for each other.
