Many would say that having a twin brother is synonymous with always being able to count on someone, and in the “You Are Beautiful” series this premise is no different. It all begins when young Go Mi Nam, a music star and member of the boy band ANJell, undergoes facial plastic surgery that makes him look ugly. Terrified by the outcome, he fears for his career and the reaction of his fans, so he decides to secretly travel to the United States to find doctors who can help him.
Meanwhile, the band’s manager convinces the boy’s twin sister, Mi Nyu (Park Shin Hye), to pretend to be his brother while he is abroad. This feat is only possible because, with a few tricks, the girl becomes “identical” to the boy, which is enough to deceive both team members and fans.
But this secret won’t last long, especially because Mi Nyu starts behaving strangely, contrary to how her brother would behave. This new personality will generate doubts among the members of the boy band and she will have to do everything possible not to be discovered, otherwise it could be the end of the career of her brother and her colleagues.
The drama was released in 2009 and has a total of 16 episodes, the average length of which is one hour. To date there is no trailer dubbed or with effective subtitles. The cast includes names like Jang Keun-suk, Lee Hong-gi, Jung Yong-hwa, Uee, Yoo Seung-ho and more.
