SEGPA Skiing: Will the movie’s ending herald a new sequel?

Produced in 2022 by Ali and Hakim Bougueraba, Les SEGPA tells the story of a team of broken hands who are fired from their facility. To their surprise, they entered the prestigious Franklin D. at Roosevelt College.

A year later, they are back to play on us! The Broken Arms team returns to the cinema in this sequel, Les SEGPA au ski, which promises to be even stranger than the first part. This time, the good team again faces an adventurous new school year, right at the terminal. Two challenges await them: passing the baccalaureate and suddenly participating in the interscholastic Winter Olympics.

Is it possible for this skiing to continue after episode 2?

Will the end of the movie herald a new sequel? Or, more accurately, is the post-credits scene a tease for the 3rd movie?

Warning, if you haven’t seen the movie, the following text contains spoilers.

The post-credits sequence begins with the words: “After 4 yearsWe see a man in a helmet comes to the college on a scooter and starts torturing the students. He removes his helmet and we discover that it is the hero of the saga, Ichem. The latter, dressed in costumes, finally became. Teacher… in Segpa’s class! And he has his methods. The circle has come full circle for the protagonist of this crazy saga.

What we had to say is very good

If we go by this scene, it seems clear that it is a precursor to the sequel. However, this seems not to be the case, according to a comment by actor Ichem Bogheraba. In the film’s press kit, he warns that there won’t be a third installment devoted to SEGPA’s adventures: “We’re about to take a page and it’s heartbreaking, but I can’t see a third movie being made. What we had to say is very good. We are moving.”

For reference, Les SEGPA, released in 2022, attracted 700,000 viewers in cinemas. This sequel got off to a good start on its first Wednesday in theaters.

Regarding the success of the first part, Hakim Bugeraba explains: “We did not imagine this success at all, but the sequel was already written, at least its story, where the mountain was the setting. There was a desire to develop a franchise. The success of the first film when it was released in theaters meant that the producers, Mandarin and Kalushi, followed us..”

If this sequel is also a huge success, could plans for a sequel be reconsidered? To be continued !
